DWSMini is draw wire distance sensor that mount high precise potentiometer with compact-size outer housing. DWSmini is mainly applied for sensing and measuring length of outrigger of heavy equipments and special vehicles by its compact-size, waterproof and high strength housing design. CANopen protocol now available : constitute CAN network with length sensors for outrigger of mobile vehicle.

Length Conversion Formula

Length = (measurement voltage - Min voltage) x gain
- Gain (m/V)
  = Max Length / (Max Voltage - Min Voltage)
- Max voltage
  = Reference Max voltage x (applied voltage V / 5V)
- Min voltage
  = Min reference voltage x (applied voltage V / 5V)
- Max reference voltage
  = Max voltage when 5V is applied
- Min reference voltage
  = Min voltage when 5V is applied
- Max length = Max fetch length

DWSMini series is designed for Delphi 1216-2833 plug. Harness can be ordered optionally for wiring.

Analog output doesn't use the white wire.

The direction code identifies the wire drawing direction when the product is attached from the front.

Notes

DWS is designed for operating at low speed wire drawing condition. It may behind its durability if high speed drawing is repeated.

Immoderate drawing may cause damages of internal spring and wire.

Check wiring connections before use.
